Connect Your X (Twitter) Account to nodott

Overview


This guide shows how to connect your X account to nodott so campaigns and inbox features can work properly.


Before you start


  • You are logged in to your nodott account.
  • You installed the nodott Chrome extension.
  • You are already logged in to x.com in the same browser profile.


Step-by-step


1) Open nodott


Go to your nodott dashboard and open the account connection flow (campaign setup or X account section).


2) Click Connect X


Press the button to connect your X account.


3) Confirm extension permissions


If prompted, allow required browser permissions (cookies/storage/identity/tabs).


4) Keep X session active


Make sure your X session is active in that browser profile while connecting.


5) Save connection


After successful connect, your account should appear in the connected accounts list.


Verify it worked


Check these quickly:


  • Your X username appears in nodott.
  • Account status looks connected/healthy.
  • Inbox/conversation data starts loading.
  • Campaign sender selection includes this account.


Best practices


  • Use one stable Chrome profile for nodott + X.
  • Avoid frequently logging out of X.
  • Reconnect only when account status shows stale/disconnected.
  • If using multiple senders, label them clearly by use case.

Common issues and fixes


Issue: “Connected” but no inbox data


  • Reopen X in same browser profile.
  • Refresh nodott and retry.
  • Reconnect the account once.

Issue: OAuth/sign-in error


  • Verify Google/OAuth setup for production extension (if used).
  • Confirm redirect URI is whitelisted exactly: https://<extension-id>.chromiumapp.org/


Issue: Session expired


  • Log in to X again.
  • Reconnect from nodott.


Issue: Wrong account connected


  • Remove that connected account.
  • Log into correct X account in browser.
  • Connect again.


Managing multiple X accounts


If your plan supports multiple senders:

  1. Connect each X account one by one.
  2. Use clear labels for each sender.
  3. Assign specific campaigns/lists per sender.
  4. Avoid messaging the same contact from multiple accounts.
